Sierra Storage Door Flip

Hi all.
we have a 07 Siera 375 QBQ. the problem was the storage door under the master bedroom slide could be crushed if left open when the slide was retracted. the simple fix was to remove the whole door assym. clean the old sealant and put the door back in upside down. now the door opens down instead of up and it out of the way....no more slide crushing the door issues. forest river refused to do anything about this problem. if you do this be sure to use plenty and proper sealant around door when putting it back in. also seal the weap hole that will now be at the top of the door (around the edge) and create new ones at the bottom (previous top) of the door.

Ha! I thought I was the only one that did that sorta thing!! When we had our Shamrock.. I couldnt tell ya how many times I closed the slide out on the outside shower door! The thing always bent back though!!
