Simple hold-down straps

I have a RoadTrip Grill that I'd like to store on the folded-down dinette while traveling. I'm not confident it will stay in place so I need to secure it.

I added some loops of nylon strap to give me a place to attach it. I wrapped the strap under and around the bench frame and used a self-tapping screw with a washer. There was already a gap between the benches. I only had to loosen the back bench off the wall to allow me to slip it behind. The pressure on the screw being horizontal, I'm confident it won't go anywhere.

When traveling I'll use a nylon tow strap with hooks, woven through the loops and around the grill. When camping. the loops tuck away under the cushions.

This is really simple but I thought someone might be able to apply the same approach elsewhere.
