Sink Covers
Hi Everyone, Not sure if this the proper place for this post, but here goes: Does anyone know where to get "stock" sink covers? The kitchen sink in our 2015 Wildwood X-Lite 281QBXL has a ridge just below the top edge that runs the entire inside perimeter that looks like it would support some sort of a cover. I asked the dealer and they said that covers weren't available, but it looks like the sink manufacturer made provisions for some kind of cover. Thoughts?

Look around the edges near the fixtures for a manufacture name. It might be labeled on the underside as well. If you search that manufacture you should be able to find accessories.

Additionally you can contact Forest River directly from their website. They have been very helpful.

My Roo has a plastic cover for my sink. Sits on top of that groove that your picture shows. When I get home I will check to see if there is any manufacturer info. But like Eric said, you may have to check with FR.

Sink Cover
The sink looks pretty much like my single basin in 39P. Contact Forest River directly, cost was relatively cheap. Got it three days from ordering.

My Flagstaff came with a cover from the factory. They are a PITA most of the time, although sometimes they are useful. It will not stay in place during travel.
Sounds like your dealer is as inept as mine. He probably took it out for another unit. Could do the same for you!
Almost all Flagstaff/Rockwood TT we looked at in 2013 had the cover, appeared to come from the factory as part of the sink.
Travel safe

I wouldn't waste my money on them. They never stay put when traveling and are just a pain. Later RJD

I'm looking for extra counter space. It would be nice to have a place to set things when cooking on the stove and a covered sink would do the job. I guess it doesn't need to be a factory cover.
Has anyone found anything else to cover their sink with?

Find a large wood cutting board that's bigger than the sinks and edge with rubber shelf liner, like th estove covers. Great counter space and chopping place!

My 2014 tt came with sink covers for our twin sink. They match the counter top.

I went to a local plastics dealer and got a piece of "food grade" polyethylene, made a template from cardboard and used a jigsaw to cut out a cover for our sink. It gives us extra counter space plus a good cutting board and stores in a drawer when traveling.

This looks like the sink in my shamrock. 21ss and we have a cover. It's in for repairs I can check for and ID number. When we get it back if you would like.

I made one for our Wildcat that we had. SAMs sells a large plastic cutting board that I cut down to fit the sink grove. Also took a round over router bit and went around the outside edges to make it look like it came with the trailer.

I use a plastic cutting board with adjustable wire handles. I found it at a housewares shop in a Mennonite shopping mall in the Shenandoah Valley. They also had a magnetic paper towel holder, towel bar and other useful items. It might not work for a double sink, but it works great for a standard single sink.

We have one and it works fine. Makes for a light, practical cutting surface when not covering the sink. Stays in place during travel too.

RR Mans unit has a Island sink and your Wildwood has a Sink mounted in a Slide in the Middle also when closed for Travel! If his wont stay put I doubt yours will either! We have a Front Kitchen and our sink Covers Stay Put! I would still want covers for the additional Bar Space! Youroo!!
