If I were going to do this, I would put it on both sides AND the top, but I think it should be on a slight angle to reduce the tendency of the seal to pull the strip off. Putting it on a slight angle would keep the strip on longer.

Has anyone used the auto moulding or something else for the top slide seals? If so, how and where to apply? My side slide seals are working but the top seals want to fold under and not pull out as needed.

Try rubbing the top seal with baby powder.

1/2 gray foam weather striping is working great for me !!!
