I haven’t come across any that didn’t have screws. Try posting pics to better understand what you have.

Thanks!
I think it may snap together, you could take a putty knife and see if you can get it between the plastic and the door. Very gentle lift outward to see if the plastic frame releases. The frame itself may be split at the top or bottom. If it is then place the putty knife to either the left or right of the split.

So, I'm thinking that the magnetic strips could also go on the cross-bar portion of the frame. If you do that, you could then put the magnetic strip down one side instead of the middle-- then open the screen diagonally. With the screen openings on the side, there'd be nothing to block the view out the window! The two sides and top would be in the screen channels, the bottom magnetic.

It would be something like the drawing below, but opening could be even closer to the edge.

Yes we thought about that but the shade opens best when grasped from the middle. We used to do it does not bother us. It is worths a try.

With care, I pried out the old window, installed the new. Installing the new goes better, and safer, with extra hands.

There are special expensive wedges that insert in small spaces between the frame and the door around the entire frame. Looking for the link now.
