Sofa recliner swap

I want to replace the sofa in my trailer with 2 wall hugging recliners. The trailer is a rear door and will take a bit of maneuvering to get the sofa out and recliners in. I know some recliners have removable backs that would make it easy to get them in but I haven't found any suitable for a travel trailer. Has anyone done this? And what recliner did you use? My only other option is to remove the big window behind the sofa but I would rather not do that. Thanks.

MY cousin replaced the sofa in his RV with a better one and removed the big window in order to get the new one in there.

What do you mean by "haven't found any suitable for a travel trailer"?

I would find a pair that I like and go from there. Most of the recliners that I've seen have removable backs even if you have to remove a couple of bolts.

Suitable may have been the wrong word to use. The distance from floor to the top of the arm rest is where I was going with that. It's a narrow door and it needs to be able to fit through it. I would rather not take the window out if I can help it. I haven't had a lot of luck with projects like that. Out is never a problem. In is another story.

We used LazyBoys for replacements and their delivery policy is to put the furniture where you want it including RV's. So you don't have to get them in their delivery men do it.

I understand about the arm height requirement because you need to get it through the door even with the back off.

Once you have the back off then you can turn the arms vertical and work them around through the door. That should help some.

We removed out jack knife couch and to get out wall hugger in we had to recline the sofa to get it in the door. The back didn't come off. Around the L island and set into position

OK so Lazy boys seem to work well. I didn't think about reclining the chairs to get them in. It's not a straight shot going in. The bathroom is just inside the door and then a sharp right turn to the slide where the chairs will be. Just have to go over the island to get there. If the delivery guy's will do it then I'll let them have at it. The sofa isn't a jackknife but I believe there are 4 bolts that hold the back on. It shouldn't be a problem. Thanks for the input guy's its appreciated. Happy New Year.

We made the swap with two Wally World recliners. Couch had 8 bolts ant came apart in two pieces; fit through door easily. Put it back together in about 5 min., now resides in shop.

The recliners your using are they wall hugging? Mine will have to go in a deep slide. There is plenty of room for the chairs folded but reeling may be an issue.
