Soft Floor

Now I wish I could remember the thread or who did this first, but THANKS! After several conversations with the DW we decided to go ahead with the floor modifications. This is our 5th year in the RV and the floor is soft is several places. called the technician at Forest River and he guided me into a 3/8" wood. Yea a floating floor is just about all one can do. The initial cost was about 250.00 but the sidewalls on the slider rubs a bit. I'm sure after several uses it will turn to a gouge. So instead of the economical type threshold I will replace the existing install for oak and stain to match. Additionally the base board by the door has already taken a hit and that might be another "real wood" thing. All in all we love it and wish I would have done it sooner.

Can't be much, after all it's floating.
