I've seen other solutions here with velcro and cabinet latches. I wanted something that I didn't have to deal with every time I wanted a beer and also wanted to be able to hold it open a bit to air out.

Most refrigerators have holes on both sides on top so you can change which way it opens. So I came up with this. A piece of 1/2x1/8 flat stock, holes drilled the right distance apart, a 1/8 roll pin, 2 1/4 roll pins, shrink tube on pins for padding, and soft side of velcro to prevent scratching.

First pic give ya an idea what it looks like. Second pic holding it closed. Third holding out open. All you do is remove when you arrive our flip to hold it open.
