Speakers and insulation

Not sure what post I read this on, but I took someone's idea and replaced my inside factory speakers with a pair of Sony's from Walmart. Wow! What a huge difference that made. After removing the original speakers, I was surprised to see what type of insulation FR used in my Cherokee Greywolf. It appeared to be shredded upholstery fabric and foam. Smart and economical on their end, but not sure what type of insulation quality it is providing my camper. Anybody else seen this before?

I look in my cabinets and see my exterior speakers have it. My speakers are Kickers and I thought about replacing them but they seem pretty decent so far.

I have a Surveyor sport 220 and I am looking to upgrade the speakers. What size do you have? Thanks

How do you handle vibration and rattling? I only have one outside speaker, and when it is on high volume it sounds like the paneling is going to rattle right off the trailer. I bang on the panels and it seems to help a little bit, but eventually the rattling returns. I'd love to upgrade the speaker to something with a broader dynamic range, but I'm afraid that will only make the rattling worse.

I got 6.5 Sonys. Speakers fit great but the grill screws missed the mark. Will be using a HD double sided tape to mount the grills.

I was amazed at the amount of crap rattling around in the OEM speakers. Maybe it's just debris.
