Special needs child bunk bed mod

Looked over the forum and saw some mods for beds. Figured I might help someone else out if they are in need of making a bed a child can't fall out of. Our daughter has a sleep safe bed at home. We kept her in a pack and play for a long time, but she got tall enough that she could knock it over. So it was no longer safe. I found a wood gate that came in 4 sections that worked out just right for a 360ibl lower bunk. I used aluminum angle to secure it top and bottom. Used acorn nuts to keep smooth edges on the bolts. The right side opens and there is a gate latch on the inside. There wasn't room to mount the latch outside as it would hit the wall when the slide is in. Not in this picture, but I took the blind down and used velcro to mount a cover over the window. I used the sun shade material you put in the windows. Has worked great so far, though we don't let her play in the bed. We did't want to block the window exit with anything permanent should an emergency arise. I can take more detailed pictures if anyone is interested.
