Had the classic stabilizer jack bend on the left side of my RV over the winter while in storage. She is a Heritage Glen 356 QBQ and decided to remove the assembly and had my son weld braces to it 1 1/2 inch angle iron along the bottom of each leg as well as across the top of the main assembly. Work perfectly now. My summer neighbor has the same setup only his Silverback was made in 2008 and the material in his landing gear legs are made from material nearly twice as thick and he has never had an issue. Will ad pix when I get to the computer cant seem to attach from the phone.
Never bent any of ours, but reinforced them after reading about them on this forum. I just split 2-1/2 x 0.120 square tubing and welded it to the bottom of the legs. Also replaced the 1/4" thick strap leg supports with 3/4" black pipe with flattened ends.
