Storage in wardrobe closet

I was looking at the 2017 surveyor units and they have a small cubby storage box with a net next to the queen size in the wardrobe closet. I have some ideas to add something but I was wondering if anyone else has already made the mod? How about drawers under the mattress so you don't need to lift the mattress to get underneath?

Looking for good ideas.

I have added Doors in place of Drawers,we have found Much more storage Without Drawers! Youroo!!
