Yes, used a hex bolt 1/4" x 6"...have a lock washer and wing nut to keep it on.
With the cap in place, I drilled in the center for the best strength and drilled with 1/4" bit, which will be snug at first but after sliding the bolt in and out a few times, comes out easily.

Do you mind showing close-up pictures of how you mounted your storage tubes? I'm pretty sure my wife is going to demand that my two don't live in the back of the truck shortly into this year's camping season...

CapsFloyd,
I also have a Flagstaff and the Rhino sewer hoses. Actually we have 4 10' lengths. The first time I tried to put them into the square rear storage compartment I also didn't think they would fit. I tried it again one more time and they did. You have to rotate until the latches align with the corners of the square tube. They should fit unless of course they have a smaller square tube. Try it again and maybe it will fit. I stuff at least 3 or maybe all 4 of the 10' lengths into the tube.

On your post 1o you said that your Rhino hoses didn't fit into the rear storage bumper on you Flagstaff. Now you say that you're underside is completely covered and is a bumper pull. Mine is also and the rear storage bumper does allow the Rhino hoses to fit.
It can be tricky at times to communicate ideas.

Yes it will fit until you deform the bumper with an add on bike rack mount. "DOH"
Now I need need to see if I can use one one of the above mods on my V-Cross

http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...mod-36515.html
here was my take on this mod with 5" posts and two "L" brackets so all hidden fasteners. works great! Like others said, I hope to use the cut off pieces to make shorter storage tubes for the bbq stuff
