Suburban 3 Burner Range cover Question

just read an old thread for replacing the cover on the Suburban Range cover. hinge supports for ours are failing; have to hold top up with a wooden spoon. previous thread discussed replacing top with a very functional looking Butcher block top. How do you remove the existing (& failing) metal cover?

You should be able to pry top of stove up and then have access to screws to remove top cover.
