Sunseeker MBS Propane Piping Schematic

I am staying in my 2015 Sunseeker 2400 MBS this winter, and need to add an external propane tank. I am aware of the T fitting kits for this.

However, I find that the piping from the internal tank splits into two lines with separate regulators. Has anyone seen a propane piping schematic for these RVs? Or, does anyone know what each line services. We have a heater, hot water heater, refrigerator, and range connected to propane.

Extend A Stay goes before the house regulator. That should not be too difficult to look for.

Believe on our 2012 MBS, one regulator feeds the propane generator; the other everything else. As stated above, believe the “Extend-a-Stay” goes ahead of both regulators.

Extend A Stay

Ok. I just realized Extend a Stay must be the T adapter. In my case, there is a steel pipe tree that splits the flow to the two regulators. I don't want to disconnect this to install the T adapter. Since I don't plan on moving the RV during the winter, my plan is to disconnect the line servicing the heater, and direct connect the external tank to this line, and temporarily plug the steel pipe tree on that branch.

When it's warmer, I will install the T adapter and re-support the regulator.

Thanks.

"my plan is to disconnect the line servicing the heater, and direct connect the external tank to this line". With all due respect I do not think you can hook the external tank up "directly". There has to be a regulator installed between the external tank and the system using the gas. Using the "Extend-a-stay" is the best choice for this application even though you will have to break the line in the piping tree before your present regulator.

Isn't the final connection at the tank a hose? I doubt it's hard piped directly to the tank, never have seen an RV that did not have at least a 12" "pigtail" to connect to the special threaded tank valve, that's where the "extend a stay" should tie in. That way it's an easy connect/disconnect without tools, caps, etc.
