Yes, you have to use premium with this max power program. The power without the trailer is absolutely incredible. 0-60 in 5.9 seconds in the Yukon Denali 2012.
You won't be impressed with a tuner on a gas engine, the increases in HP and torque are so minor...IMO, hold onto your cash and wait for the next opportunity to purchase a more capable truck/powerplant

I have a 5Star tuner on my V-10 and it made a serious improvement. A little with the torque and horsepower but the major improvement was the trans shifting. One of the best investments I have made.
