Tapping into LED light wiring

I have the FR Salem Lite 201BHXL. The bunks have lights but no plugs or usb outlets.

My son sleeps in the bottom bunk so I can access the wiring to the LED light. I want to put in this https://www.amazon.com/Ginsco-Charge...=12+usb+outlet

and connect it to the LED lighting wire which I do believes runs off the 12 volts battery feed. I will check the voltage first naturally. The plug has its own fuse.

Does anyone see a problem with this?

Don't see a problem. I have added additional led lighting this way.
