Thanks for the ideas - just now getting them done

Finally got to implement some of the good ideas I read about here. Of course swapped out the incandescent bulbs for LEDs right away. Then I moved the TV from the previous neck bending position to a place where it is easy to watch from the couch or dinette. Then I secured the bluray player under a new shelf and installed a receptacle strip for charging mobile devices along with a AIO printer for printing mailing labels for CD orders that we get while on the road.

Today I built a shelf on the counter top to store mugs and glasses with a place for our toaster oven that keeps it secure. Now we have two empty cabinets!

I have some more mods, but we're heading out on the road tomorrow morning.

I had also added a small electric heater in the bathroom. My wife fires it up and shuts the door and in no time at all it is very warm in there. This a 550 watt heater that is used in outdoor cabinets that need their electronics kept warm during the winter. It has a built in thermostat and I wired it off of the GFIC outlet in the bathroom. This unit was removed from a decommissioned site so it didn't cost me anything!

Where did you get the heater from? Think my wife and daughter would like that.

We removed it from some equipment we de-commissioned. Here is a link to the item:

They are not cheap as you can see. We also use one of these for the main cabin, I think these are very nicely made:

I finished the other shelf unit beside the fridge.

I also added an electric heat element to the gas water heater. I attached a standard water heater thermostat to the tank on the inside. It is only 425W but it has the water ready to use when we come back to the RV at the end of the day. I also added a read-out so I can check the temperature of the water.

I put the roll of Teflon tape over the gas line because I can never find that tape when I need it!

While I was added temperature displays, I added one to the fridge. I like to keep an eye on it.

BTW, why are my pictures sometimes rotated?

I added a storage space for my stinky little friend using the 4" x 4" PVC post cover.

The sockets in the floor for the table were cracking so I removed the sockets and put some expanding foam in there and screwed them back down quickly. Hopefully this will reinforce them. I also added stainless steel L angles to the legs to help with the wiggle. It seems to help it a good bit - not perfect but better. Has anyone installed the Sequoia Table Leg & Base System? It looks like it should work...
