The LED mods begin

I bought a 16' roll of exterior white LEDs from Amazon. I finally got started using them.

I tapped into the 12V for the cargo light for the power and a Radio Shack switch turns them on.

I still have a couple of feet off this roll. I am planning on using some for step lights. Then I want to put some in the darker cupboards and use magnetic switches on the door. I have another roll ordered.

I'm kind of excited to see how they look with the awning open.

The LED mods begin

Mine were factory and I really like them. Of course, almost a year on them and nearly a dozen are burned out. What is the model number on those lights? I'm probably going to replace mine and use my old ones in pass through storage.

Here it is with just the rope light I string at the end of the awning. It works great for just a some softer light.

Here is the LED strip turned on. I'm thinking about adding a dimmer to it.

Looks nice. When you do the cabinets with the switch would you post what you use and how you do it. A lot of dark areas in the cabinets that need attention.

I'm on my 3rd controller box for my 12v light strip. Even though I covered and protected it outside it appears these boxes don't last. Looking to now move controller box and power strip to inside of front storage cabinet.

I'm not using a controller box. I just tapped off the 12v for the light in the front storage, ran the wires through the hole with the wires for the power awning and resealed around them.
