Nicely done all around! I'm going to copy your idea for the bathroom lock. I know my MIL would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks. I figured the bathroom that will probably see the most traffic should definitely be able to be secured. It's a bit tricky without a 3rd hand to steady the door, but as simple as it looks. If you look in the pic I've attached of the stairs, on the left you will see a grab bar that's factory. I guess FR listened to someone on that idea.

Thanks for all the great ideas! I too have used a variation of your 1/2 bath lock. I used a bunk latch and put 2 hole for it to go into, one to lock it closed and one to lock it open. I then took the plastic snap that used to hold it open for travel and moved it so we can snap it to hold the door shut from the BH to keep the one year old from exploring and getting into trouble there!!

I added the BH tv on a swing arm. Its a 26 in with built in DVD.

Swapped out all the handles for locking ones. ( Don't understand why you could not even lock the bathroom door?!)

Added a level just inside the compartment because I have the pin cover and could not mount it there and I did not want to put any holes in the siding!

Another thing that was bothering me was the door to the BH. Why have it open to the dinette when you have a blank wall on the other side, so I flipped the door to swing the other way. Now we can leave it open and still get into the dinette.

Thanks for the ideas and pictures. I like the look of the bunk latches for the locks and what you have done with the door (having it open the other direction.) You all are giving me some great ideas on what to do, unfortunately my wallet isn't liking them quite as much Hopefully will be getting mine in the next couple of weeks so I can start contributing some pics and ideas here as well!

Did you get the bunk latches at Home Depot or something?
