Looks nice LaydBack. I got mine put on a week or so ago. DW and her friends asked when I was going to put the disco ball in.

I just put the one strip in under the awning rail. Wound up splicing two strips together and running the full 21' of the awning. Now I have enough left over to attach some under the steps as well and plan to connect them all together so the colors are synchronized. I also bought toggle switches so that I can turn each on/off independently. Hope to get that part done sometime in the next week and will post some pictures once it is done.

Here's the one's I took of the awning LEDs.

Managed to get a couple more done before the maiden voyage next weekend. I mounted my level on the pinbox and installed the black tank flush on the 1/2 bath's tank. Aside from some assembler's yogurt container, the underbelly was impressively neat/clean. Sorry, I was in a hurry and didn't take pics, but I didn't notice a good spot to tap for heat to the 1/2 bath. The underbelly removal is by far the hardest part. I only took it down partially and was able to drop the gas pipe and work my way to where I needed to be. You definitely have to leak check the flush and I disassembled it and used some Rector seal as well as a hose washer. The insulated tanks is a joke, just some white batt insulation laid on top of the underbelly beneath the tanks.

Where did you put your hose hookup for the black tank flush? I'm having one installed Wednesday and want to give them directions...

And, I'm sorry - but I LOL'd a little at the yogurt cup.

Anyone have any recommendations on brand / model of a 50 amp surge protector? I'm interested in hardwiring one in but am a bit new to mods and location of wiring in the trailer etc.

Here's the pics. I plan to put the black corrugated loom over the clear line.

I use the progressive industries Ems unit...no complaints with it!

Finally got around to connecting my awning lights into my 12V connection today (ran them all weekend at the campground off 110). Thought I would share with everyone where I mounted both the IR sensor and the remote. (we keep the basement door open most of the time when we are camping anyway given that the kids are in and out of there getting their toys.

Finally took our first trip for the holiday. Afterwards, ordered 2 sets of quadra steps Tuesday. Will transfer my stabilizers to them. $440 on eBay with shipping.

Curious as to why you decided on the quad steps? We had our second outing this weekend (i posted pics in another thread) and really didn't have any issues with the steps, however we were used to the tri-step from out last sabre. We do carry a step stool if necessary, but have only used it once.

Also will be curious on the difference after you get them on as you might change my mind.....and save my back if my 85lb. Lab can get up them (arthritis and bad hind legs) vs me lifting him up in every time.

The bottom step is quite high, which I see as a trip hazzard, and a trip to the ER that I'd rather not have to make. Wife, kids, and myself didn't have any issues this outing, but I can see someone missing it easily....I think it makes people really pull on the grab bar, which can't be good for it, and it really has to be hard on that bottom step.

Forgot to include a pic of the first trip

I think we have just become acclimated to the step height after having pretty much the same step setup for the last couple years with our previous Sabre. Others have said the same as you, I was just curious.

Keep me posted on the difference, might just be something that I could do and earn some "brownie points" from the DW without her asking for them.

I want the quad steps because they start lower to the ground and there's less height between each step. It would be more convenient to not have to setup the extra step at the bottom. I told my mother-in-law about them and pointed them out at the RV show. We all agreed that they would be nicer.
