The Sabre 36QBOK-7 Mods Thread

No offense to anyone, this is just a spur off of another thread specific to the Palomino Sabre 36QBOK crowd. As far as I'm concerned, post away. We just wanted a thread to post some of the mods to our units. So without further delay........picked up and went to town modding, TVs in bedroom and bunkhouse, followed by surge guard and vacpan install. Also replaced the white central vac inlet with an almond one to match everything else.

Congrats on your Palomino Sabre 36QBOK-7. Now you can drop the '(on order)' part of your sig . Great job on your mods. Quick question, our's is a -6 but what's a -7 designation?

Thanks. Good question, don't know the answer..... forgot all about changing the sig! Got lots more to do, just can't steal the time.

Thanks for starting a new thread specific to the QBOK mods. Are you going to put the mesh back over the subwolfer/surge guard or will you use a different cover?

Got a pic with it back on. You can barely see the red LEDs. If you are looking for them to check it's status, you can see them, but they're not disruptive. Will try to post more pics later.

bunk house mount

the mount I used was a sanus f107b, it was rated for 13-26, it put it on a 32 vizio led slim line, have about 1'' on each edge. im figuring for my test run ill stick foam rubber on each side & cut me out some little blocks from 2 inch foam to make sure I don't kill the wall! or tv.

I checked it out. Does it stay extended all the time.....looks like the cavity isn't wide enough to allow it to articulate back to the locked position.

Here's a few more pics of some of the other small mods - 1/2 bath sliding door lock, plate and paper towel holders, sensar pro signal meter, and Vortex II fan......I still can't get any free time....

Speaking of grab bars, I want to mount a slim handrail of sorts for going down the inside steps. With a baby, those things feel really steep at 4am in the pitch black!

Nicely done all around! I'm going to copy your idea for the bathroom lock. I know my MIL would greatly appreciate it!
