Tire Tracker TPMS & Metal Stems

Does anyone that uses this system have metal valve stems ? I remember reading where someone was having issues with their TPMS when they swapped over to the metal stems.
I'm thinking about swapping trailer tires and I would rather have metal stems but I want to make sure they won't interfere with my TPMS.

I believe several are using metal stems with their TPMS and some had to go to metal after the weight of the sensors was causing leakage in their rubber stems.

Tried the high pressure rubber stems with TST 507 Flow Thru and one started leaking so Ms. Amy and FT Turbs graciously sent me metal stems which I then had to trade for smaller steel ones that fit my wheels. Had the tires broken down and the steel stems installed and re-balanced with the sensors on them. Now, when we go to FL, I will re-torque the lugs a couple or 3 times the first day when we make potty stops, etc. I would suggest you balance the tires WITH the sensors as they will throw the balance off.

No problems here. I purchased the TPMS in Goshen and drove back to SC. I have metal stems on my stock wheels. Made several shorter trips since Goshen and have had no issues.

I think you might be right. After all the shenanigans that went on there, Survivor might be better than veteran.

I might have do that Goshen thing next year. I read about all the Phat Phrog shenanigans and I'm intrigued.
I did take a golf cart once and floored it down hill from the clubhouse to the driving range. Straight shot.I then proceeded to launch off the tee box and landed on the driving range. Caught some good air but I didn't roll it.
My drunk golfing buddies and I were asked not to come back. Found out those uppity Country Clubs don't have a sense of humor.

I can't get family or friends to hold my beer anymore when I say "hold my beer and watch this".
