To minimize the kinking of the hose at the tank I installed a 90* elbow(regular gaden hoes type)at the tank between the tornado flusher and the hose.

Note: Drilling out the holes (jets) will give you more volume but--you are losing some velocity by doing this. Depending on the size and shape of the tank this may, or may not, be to your benefit.
