TP Holder - 8310SS

Our Rockwood 8310SS came with a toilet paper roll holder - but it was not installed! I see so many horror stories of people screwing into walls and hitting surprises in the backside of the walls. Is there a safe place to install the TP holder in the bathroom of the 8310SS? Space is pretty cramped but I don't like moving the TP from 'counter' to seat cover to......

Use Command strips. I probably have 30 of them in our TT. No holes and if you want to move or do away with the mounting you leave a clean surface.

Over-the-door TP holder

I'd recommend that you get a over-the-door TP holder, and not bother with attaching the one they gave you. Is there a cabinet door close to the toilet, where you can hang it? Maybe the under-the-sink cabinet? And then stow it in the cabinet when you're rolling?

I screwed it to the vanity in mine ...just over the door and beside the plug , right at your finger tips when using the toilet !

I use the hanger ove the cabinet door, it works, but is sometimes in the way. Since we're going to be spending several weeks on the road, I'm thinking about a hold that mounts with 3M adhesive

The one supplied with the trailer is perfectly fine, screwed to the cabinet.

In our 5er, the TP holder didn't come installed either. The only accessibly wall is curved so can't really mount to that.

However, the vanity is pretty much straight across and in easy reach of the commode. So I glued a piece of 1x3 pine to the inside face of the vanity door (Gorilla glue and c-clamps) to provide depth for the screws and mounted it to that. Takes up almost no storage space and out of sight until needed!

This should really go in the 'Most Useful Mod' thread (although it wasn't really a 'mod').

Have to have it in bronze, or DW will have a hissy-fit.

That's what we did. Mounted it inside the door. It's out of sight and works great.

Your layout is like ours, I mounted ours to the shower wall.

I bought a free standing TP holder because you know someone is going to yank that holder out of the wall and leave you with big ugly holes..I stood it on the floor and then hooked it to a command hook so it would stand in place. Ditto on command hooks--they must have had RV owners in mind when they invented them.

My TP holder inside the vanity door is held in place with really strong 2 sided tape. it hasn't budged even after a 2 week trip with a 6 ft. 12 year old grandson who slams and pulls everything.
