I have the same trailer I went to the Maxxis tires load range 'E'. If you go this route you will need to replace the rims as well the stock rims on the TT are not rated for the pressure.

The Maxxis tire is a good tire. Maxxis 225/75R/15D is 8ply 65 psi 2,540lbs: Maxis 225/75R/15E is 10ply 80psi 2,830lbs.

I bought Sendel trailer rims Maxis 225/75R/15E is 10ply 80psi 2,830lbs. (copy and pasted from btritschler1437 above) 5 rims and 5 tires from Americas Tire Store a little under $1500.00. I also had them install all steel valve stems another $150.00. Tires and rims were not stock items they ordered them for me.

Thanks, here is the close-up I promised. The center of the cap is removable for greasing without taking the wheel off the TT.

Maxxis 8008 LR D were what I used when I had the old trailer. I towed it ~3500 miles before we sold it to get this one. The tires worked very well, and I did not have to change the rims. At LR D,the tires had about 800 lbs of extra capacity over the GVWR of the trailer. The LR C that were on there were well under the GVWR due to the FR assuming a tongue weight on 10%.

With the 225's you will loose little clearance in the wheel well about 1/2" as apposed to the 205's I have not had any problems from it. The 'D' range tires are rated 65 psi and are well suited for the TT's weight, the reason I went on up to 'E' was in hopes of getting less role resistance and a little better on gas but haven't used them enough to notice a difference from the 'C' that was originally on there.
