That looks like a project I'll be adding to my list to do this spring. Thanks for sharing. I've looked into the aluminum truck bed slides but they cost a lot more than I'm willing to spend. Cheapest I've seen is if i remember correctly is like $850. Bet this one could be done for around $200-$250. Be sure to let us know how it comes out and if you don't mind let us know what it cost ya.

I did come across someone a couple years ago down here in the bayou that had built one for their turck. It seemed to work very well.

Looks very neat; but heavy.
Watch your truck's GVWR if you have a heavy tongue weight.

it will be heavy but with a 3500 ram I'm not worried about it I won't be adding much more weight just power cords and hoses some tools and a little firewood. with 2 bad knees I just can't crawl in the back to get something from up front.

One of these would be good for my front storage area that is open from one side to the other. Im always leaning in to grab something. Would be nice to pull out a shelf and slide it back in.
