I believe it was Martin Luther King that said "I have a dream". That kinda like you Cheby guys--until you own a Ford you can still dream of owning one.

Nobody, but nobody, only a clueless FoMoCo person would dream of owning a Found On Road Dead. Chevy owners have class & a brain!
p.s. Dodge owners are a hopeless bunch, just one notch above the FoMoCo folks.

I hate to jump on other posters but this thread is tagged. Columbus, 320rs and mod. We should add milk crate, cheby, and powerstrokes rules!
Back on Topic
Turbs, how was the last weekend camping? Did the mods work to your satisfaction? Did the tailgate shop make some needed money for new frypans?

Hi TURBS,
Thanks for the photos for adding the 2nd battery. I also have a 2013 Columbus 320RS and have been trying to find the same battery box so it will fit into the factory stamp-out. It looks like your 2nd box is a perfect match to the 1st box so I am assuming this fit into the factory stamping? Would you please share where you bought this box and the name of the manufacturer? Also what modification if nay did you have to make to the master switch?
Thanks for all your great posts!!

My dealer had it in stock.
You'll need a "flanged" battery box.
Give me a few minutes I'll go look to see if there's a name on it.
You have to do nothing to battery disconnect.
Move the positive battery cable from original battery to the new one, leave the negative on original.
Get two new cables 1/0 ga.
Same length and hook positive to positive, negative to negative. .
Cables must be same length.
You'll need a plumbing y and some vent hose.
I'll post more pics momentarily.

Ok thru some research I can only find a white version of the battery box at Dyersonline.
I called my dealer and he said they can only find them and order them directly thru forest river.
He sold me the box for $25.00.
I called columbus parts but they've closed for the day.
I'll try back monday.

Thanks for the follow-up, info and great photos! My RV dealer belongs to the Route 66 Network and the only boxes I find in their catalog would require cutting out more metal that I would like. I am also a novice when it comes to electrical so want to be sure I don't create any problems. I owe you a few beers!!

I'll check on the box monday for you.
It's very easy to install the second battery.
At worse you can call my dealer and have them round up all the parts they did for me and they'll ship everything to you.

Fixing quality columbus coax this morning.
This coax is from the ota antenna plate to the bedroom tv.
Good thing I bought this handy crimping tool and a 100 count of connectors.

That's just a terrible example of workmanship. You would think a manufacturer would have the proper tools for the job, as well as the training.
