TV added to 255RS

I just got my '04 255RS a few weeks ago and we have been out twice now. Even camped last weekend when it was 108 degrees!

After spending a decent amount of time in the camper, I decided to add a TV to the bunk room and also replace the one in the kitchen Kids were happy about the bunk room tv!

Here are the pics of the bunk room tv.

Fist pic shows the before picture(pic1).
Second pic is the board I mounted to the bunks with the TV mount in place(pic2).
Third pic is a close up of the bracket on the bunk rail(pic3). I had planned on securing to the wall of the camper as well but decided to try this first.
Pic4 is the final product. The brackets are not very visible with the sheets on. The tv can be slid up and off the mount so if will not ride mounted. The TV is a 23" LED TV and should weigh around 8lbs.

I am hoping to get the kitchen tv mounted tomorrow. I will be doing something similar to what a fellow member has already done so hopefully should be easy. We currently have a 13" CRT/DVD combo. I am replacing this with another 23" LED TV and getting a door to cover the current TV location to add some storage.

Thanks

Here is the kitchen TV setup. Modguy, you might recognize this.

First pic is from inside the cabinet. I added a piece of 1/2 trim to make the connection stronger. Once I get the hole cut for the wires, I will put the inside panel back in and you wont see any of this.

Second pic is the mount from outside of the cabinet.

Third pic is the TV mounted. I still need to get a hole cover and drill the hole for the wires. The other wire hanging is the AUX input for the radio. I use this for the MP3 player currently. Little messy but you get the idea. I have a cabinet door on its way here to button everything up. Pretty happy with how it came out. It is so much easier when you have others to copy

Got a few more pics. Ordered a 16x16 door off of ebay. Color is a little light but looks pretty good, IMO.

Second pic is the inside of the cabinet with the panel back in place.

Thanks for the great idea, Modman.

That looks really good. I might have to steal those ideas.

Nice thing about the TV location is you can see it from the sofa, or angle it into the corner to view from the bed. You will be amazed at how much stuff you will be able to fit into that cabinet now.
