TV Interior Gear Junkie Solutions

After Great White's excellent lower console project, I thought I would show the lazy man's way.

I don't like drilling holes for gear placement, so I came up with these 2 solutions:

The lower console in my case came from an Advance Auto. I have my emergency scanner and CB bolted into the console, and the console fits tight in between my dash and center console. The external CB speaker and the 3 way splitter are just set in place.

I cut a piece of plexiglass to fit in the upper dash tray for my TPMS, ScanGauge II, and my GPS. The buttons on my TPMS are a little difficult to get to, but I only check the individual tire pressures every 1/2 hour or so, so it is not a problem.

Just thought I would put some ideas out there for those "lazy" members that don't have Great White's talent.

Hooey Chap. That is a mess o' gear for sure. But that's also a good job of keeping it all together and tidy.

Sometimes, I even have a chance to glance at the road.

Here is my install. My truck had a cassette player in it. I removed it and modified the opening in the trim to fit over the radio head. I velcroed the radio to the slide out tray from the manufacturer that held the tape deck. That is my HF amateur (HAM) radio, gives me state to cross country/ over seas communications from my truck. The other radio is a dual band, 2 meter (VHF) and 70 cm (UHF) amateur radio, used for vehicle to vehicle or county wide using an available amateur repeater. The dual band radio has a detachable head and can mount about 25 feet from the main part of the radio if needed.
