Two mods to our Surveyor Sport

Hi! Here are a couple of simple mods that we did to our little trailer. The first is the addition of an 18-watt solar panel from Walmart to keep the battery charged when idle. I made a mount of PVC pipe and attached to the jack. This allows me to rotate the panel if desired, is secure when windy, and is easily removed by pulling the vertical pipe from the fittings.
Space is precious in this little trailer. We don't have use for the upper bunk, so we removed the mattress and made a couple of supports from PVC pipe which holds the bunk shelf up, but leaves it functional to hold stuff. This gives head clearance and also lets us store various things when parked. This allows us to use the table without it being filled with things, such as the toaster oven when not being used, and gets other clutter out of the way.
