In our Crusader 270RET, the galley has a dark area under the sinks....Everytime DW wants something out of there she bugs me for a flashlight. Recently I took a 30" strand of LED Ribbon white lights and wired them to an automatic door switch on one of the cabinet doors..now all she has to do is "open" the door and the lights come on automatically..I am now the hero....also working on the same thing for the head vanity cabinet and the bedroom slide out storage cabinet....bought ten micro switch's for $4.00 bucks on amazon..if you need a couple I will donate them...The LED's are very easy to cut and attach the new wiring with the right material..
kickster
Could not remember who gave me the heads up on this modification..as you can see, I have done it and look forward to using some more of those micro switchs, all ten of them..thanks for the tip, DW sure likes the mod. and looks forward to using it this weekend when we go to Desoto State Park..

Think I will run one of those micro switch's on the cargo doors so turning the lights on in the dark will not be any kind of hassle...
I also did that and sure do like it. Thinking about trying to come up with a way to put one on the landing jacks and also the rear stab jacks. Just have to figure out how to by-pass it to make them extend.
