Under Step Storage

My Sons Cedar Creek didn't have under step storage. I fixed that one boring Winter day.

Took out the steps and removed the treads. Ran them thru the table saw and put on piano hinges. I also did some reinforcing to the box.

Great mod 1!

Just wonder why the RV manufacturers can't come up with something as ingenious as that.

My SIL and BIL's 1997 Coachmen 5er has understep storage...so we know someone was thinking of it even back then. Our new (to us) Sandpiper 345RET doesn't have it...but my DH will more than likely modify that soon and maybe even install a small safe...but in my opinion our 5er has a lot of storage.

Nice job. You can never have too much storage space.

Nice job but the stairs seem to lead no where.
