uneven heating

"New to me trick" for heating our trailer. Our furnance blows hard and hot. It would fry you out of the master bedroom and bathroom if the doors were shut but the rear living area and kitchen would still be cool. I purchased standard residential floor grates that can be shut off/throttled down. Had to screw them down to keep them from popping out but now the trailer heats more evenly.

Not a bad idea.
My tt is about the opposite, the living area recieves most of the heat/AC, but the thermostat is near the bathroom and bedroom. It's really not too bad. Not enough difference overall to worry about.

Being able to close the vents will help keep dirt from falling into the floor vents when the furnace is not in use.
I bought these for that purpose, but maybe installing vents that can close would be better.

Yea, at night my wife and I were sweating and the kids were freezing. Our thermostat is in the hallway between the bathroom and bedroom.
