Updated our recliners again

Every year we go to the local RV shows just to see if there may be any new floor plans we like better than our V-Lite and still nothing I would trade our 30WR. WLS for. But we always end up geting 1 update to the unit, this year we were checking out a few FR units and since we had just bought new Lazy Boy recliners for the house were on the lookout for what ones were in the FR units. Lo and behold our sales lady got us the model and we went down to the local Lazy Boy dealer and they just happened to have a pair of Pinnacle chairs in stock in fabric and the color we wanted. So we now have a pair of Pinnacle Lazy Boys instead of the leather Euro recliners and ottomans we purchased 2 years ago. The Lazy Boys are a bit tighter fit but are fine even with the little end table between them. We got the standard units as they gave us a good deal as these were stock and the wall savers would have cost 2 or 3 hundred more so we can live with moving the chairs to recline them fully. I post a couple pics when I find the DW's camera cable.

We went with the Harbor town, which are only 28" wide and SO comfy. Had to look a long time for them to go on sale.

We have them in our Sabre...wife didn't want the cloth Lazyboys.

They are not as comfortable as the LB chairs due to the lack of cushioning but we do like that they are leather and are easy to clean.
Also, my wife is short (5') and the euro chair fits her so much better, along with the foot rest kick out.
We like the swivel action in the chairs and they do recline nicely and are lightweight if you need to move them around.

We got our original idea to update to Euro style chairs from a Sabre 5ver 2 years ago. We liked the chairs alot but the ottomans were a PIA to move around hence the new Lazy Boy rocker recliners. Here is my original post on the old ones.

Great Photo; looks so comfortable!

Do you have any idea the width and length (between the back wall and the door) that you were working with?

I have 28" from the wall to the door frame and 74" between the little shelves you see on either side of the chairs. The table in the middle is 12" wide. It is just abit tight but still manageable. I will restate these are the model that Forest River puts in from the factory just in leather and the basic ones we saw in a few V-Lites at the show are not the wall away model either.

Here is the link to LB's site info. Click the details tab to see the dimensions of the chairs.

Those theatre seat setups are nice. We would have bought that this time except we have to move one of the recliners to close the main slide so no deal for us.

FYI

As of midyear 2012, euro chairs do not come with seperate ottoman....chairs now have built in footrest that kicks out like a recliner, but shorter.

No way I could deal with the old style ottoman feature, too much of a hassle.

Like I have posted many times before,if you have a Rockwood or Flagstaff,Windjammer-V-Lite Trailer the heavy recliners with a person sitting in them will dimple, depress the floor covering and luan styrofoam subfloor. You will not see the damage with carpet covering but it is there. The Lazy Boy recliners have (4) plastic pads that contact the floor, this area of contact needs to be (Increased). Just a FYI. Youroo!!

Thanks for the heads up.

I haven't seen any issues in over 3 years but I will keep an eye on things. Mind you we have the little wear cups under all our furniture even in the house.

Iam sorry I though you just put the heavy Lazy Boy recl. in the trailer. I though you had the Lite Euro big round base type in the trailer for (2) years. Youroo!!

When we were looking at replacing our tt with a bigger one this year, one of the things we focused on was not having to move any furniture to close the slides. Our Rockwood 2604 is a rear living room floorplan and one of the chairs has to be moved over in front of the rear door to close the slide.
