upgraded foam in dinette cushions

I bought my 2015 Mini-Lite 2504 in October of 2015 and have not been satisfied with the dinette cushions. Yesterday I bought new HD foam and restuffed them. I used Q-44 foam in the seat cushions and Q-30 in the seat backs. Wow what a difference the firmer foam makes.

Q-30 and Q-44 is the density rating of the foam.

Where might a person find that kind of foam. I'll most likely repllace mine in the near future.

I get my foam from a foam distributor in Houston by the name of Foam Brothers on the southeast side. You can also get it from upholstery shops but it will be about twice the price and they usually do not have as good a selection

The Foam Factory is where I have ordered foam from for bunk mattresses and dinette cushions.

Better prices than I found locally; but I don't know how it matches Foam Brothers that Charlie posted.

I only did the seat bottoms for $170:

- 1 of Lux Foam - High Quality WITH DACRON WRAP: A4.00 x B19.00 x C38.00
- 2 of Lux Foam - High Quality WITH DACRON WRAP: A4.00 x B22.00 x C44.00

I know the Dacron wrap was an extra expense. And 4" thick foam was technically too much (sadly it's now splitting my cushion fabric).

I chose not to do the Dacron because I thought it would be too thick. Also a tip on stuffing the cushions. Spray the foam with silicon spray. It's a lot easier on your hands and the cushion covers.

Thanks for the tip. It could be the Dacron that is the straw that broke my camel's back. I'm not sure. Either way, I'll be having new cushions made up sometime this year. (My fault, not the fault of the foam or foam supplier.)
