Vent Covers
Today's mod, installing vent covers on all three roof vents. I didn't go with the fancy ones, because I'm usually in the heat and use A/C instead of vents. I did want to put these in for venting while traveling and when I have it covered I can leave the vents open. the cover is breathable fabric.
Mods to date; 40" smart TV in living room, 29" smart TV in garage, bike chock in garage, 4000w Onan generator, water accumulator, AGM (2nd) battery, changed compartment locks, and the vent covers. A 30w Progressive surge protector will be next. Jeez, I just got this thing in January!

Any issues with yellowing on any of the lighter colors after a few years?

We used white ones on a 1995 Dutchmen and a 2007 Laredo - both were still white after many summers

Camco is the most popular. Available at Wal-Mart. My previous rig was never under a cover. I used the insulating pillows and kept my vents closed one summer. The plastic trim on one vent warped. I am assuming that the heat between the pillow and closed vent caused the warpage.

They were the original max air versions and we kept them open all summer using those foam pillows as needed when AC was on

The Next Question
I have the Ultra Breeze covers. If you leave a vent open while traveling, and it is raining, will moisture come in the vent?

Yes, installed them on my Roo, First trip after install it rained pretty hard. When I opened the slide the floor was very wet. Cursed myself for not closing them.

Like most things, there is a range of prices. I went with the lower end Camco brand because I usually have the A/C on not the vents open. A lot of heat comes in unless they are covered, plus I want to have the vents open when I have the cover on the camper.
