I wouldn't have thought of this.... even if you didn't use it for spices, there are so many possibilities! Everything from make your own sewing kits to mad money to storing toothpicks, imagine all the cool things you could store in there! Especially if you attach the magnetic strip, you could store on the exhaust cover of the stove or inside a cabinet door.

She said she ordered hers from Home Depot and it took about an hour. Looks awesome to me. Wonder how it would do if it got hot though......

They look real nice. There is a thread over at RV.net about them. Only problem is Home Depot doesn't even have any samples to view the colors. At least the three I went to don't. But the salesperson said if I don't like it I can return them to the store with no restocking fee.

I am wanting to remove the XLR backsplash and install a tiled backsplash as well. Those look great, but I too, wonder how they will hold up when the rig is closed up. The instructions say you can remove them with just a hairdryer.....I am thinking a closed up rig in summertime might just cause them to peel away.....

I LIKE!!! On the current one I have now, I put aluminum flashing behind a sheet of glass so it could easily be cleaned. Brightened the area up too. They didn't make this when I did mine over a year ago. But I do like this!

I went to a Home Depot near me, and the guy knew of these tiles, but they didn't have them either. He said they are so new, that the roll out to the stores may take some time. I wanted to compare the weights between those tiles, and the ones they carry. I guess the weight is fine, since I am not tiling an entire kitchen!

I saw the new 2013 Jayco with the "tile" back splash and loved it but bought a Rockwood Roo... loving this idea, may be my first mod after I pick up the camper!

I've seen what you are talking about at Menards, but it is NOT the same as whats in the Columbus. I ordered some for my Columbus and it came in a 4 foot roll at about $85.

I feel sorta silly, but, looking at my kitchen area yesterday it occured to me that there's a window there, I couldn't do a backsplash if I wanted to! LOL
