Warped Countertop

I purchased a used 2006 Salem 37BHSS sight unseen (long story - don't ask) The TT seems in good shape and shows very little use BUT my first visit revealed a warped dinette and kitchen counter. The table top is no problem, i will replace it with a good top. The counter top is warped where it extends over the end of the cabinet, near the sliding door. Don't want to replace the countertop but don't know enough to determine if thats the only option. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

Is it bowed, or twisted? twisted is bad news, needs replaced.

If bowed like something heavy was on the end, you might be able to take some bow out by removing to top, and laying it on something flat like a garage floor, and place a heavy weight on it. BUT, it probably won't get much bow out. And it will have to be that way for a few days. Its worth a try, but in reality, it needs replaced.

I placed 1" stringers on the underside of my table to prevent just that. Glued and screwed to the underside. Dont even know they are there and they make the table pretty ridgid.
