Washer/dryer install

Ever wish you had a washer/dryer? Well I'll tell you it can be done in the XL. The cabinets across from the head, behind the shower are 24" across, and a stackable w/d will fit by removing these cabinets and tapping the water supply from the shower faucet. For the drain I used the vent pipe which is also located in that area towards the middle of the trailer. I drilled a 1/2" hole in the floor and ran a heavy duty extension cord. This also elliminates the problem of breakers tripping by using a seperate AC supply. For the dryer vent I ran it across the ceiling to the head against the old slidding door track , put an old stocking on the end, open your ceiling vent and turn on the fan. I still must trim out the dryer vent with some paneling. This was all done over the course of 2 weekends. I just installed the door and painted it today, $27 at home depot. It was a lot of work and you lose valuable storage but you don't have to do the dreaded L-Mat thing.
