We want a new tv

I have a 2008 Salem LE 29BHBS. It came with a tv that swivels to turn from the living room to the bedroom. It is acutally mounted in a case and the entire case moves back and forth. We have been wanting to get a bigger tv but we can not figure out how to get this one off. We have felt behind it, pulled up, down and side to side to see how it was attached and can not figure it out. If anyone has any ideas that would be great. Thank you!

There are so many different type wall brackets used that I think it would be impossible to tell you what will work. When I did home theater professionaly and had to service a big wall mounted TV, I would use a mirror and flash light to determine how the bracket worked prior to attempting to remove the TV. The safety latch could be on the bottom or top, seen them both. None more often than the other. If you use a smart phone, might try taking some pictures behind the TV and see what you can get (that kind of "tool" wasn't around too much back then).

Good Luck!
