Weak Floor in Flagstaff 25DS Micro Lite

I have watched the posts on this forum for a long time, and now I have a question which I hope someone can answer.

I purchased a Flagstaff 25DS Micro Lite in March 2010. I did purchase the additional 1 year warranty from Forrest River. We camped 43 nights last year and 30 this year. In the summer I noticed that the floor between the sink and fridg felt "soft". It would compress under my weight, 230 lbs, ya I know. Anyway I took it to the dealer I bought it from, he agreed it felt "soft", and called Forrest River. They have apparently agreed and told them to brace the floor with angle iron under the "soft" area to provide support. We have been camping twice since the "fix" and it still feels soft.

My question to anyone with this trailer or any Micro Lite is, have you experienced the same thing and if so, have you had any work done to resolve the problem?

Thanks for any help you can give,

Neville

Weak floors

We have the same model and same issue. The doorway at the bedroom feels like it is not supported at all. We are also looking for a way to repair the flooring.

Angle iron from underneath will most likely do nothing. The floor is 5/32 luan over 1 1/2" thick beaded styrofoam and 1/8 luan on the bottom. Its all glued together and has square aluminum tubes that the spacing varies by year /model. The foam in the center is compressing and allowing the top layer of plywood to move.

To repair a spot you need to cut out the bottom luan and foam ...them replace that with rigid styrofoam and new luan,or add some additional aluminum tubing in the sandwich. then do the angle iron.
