Weather stations

Looking for a nice personal weather station that does wind speed and direction. Air temperature and humidity. Be great if it was wireless too. If wired, would like it to be 12v that would need no batteries. Something under a $100 would be great. Roof mount anemometer and direction.

Check Walmart. They have wireless weather stations in that price range with all the outputs you are seeking. Not 12 volt double A. Caution regarding the one that indicates solar it is only for the fan it uses to keep the air moving through it. Worked well for a couple years. Now temp is not accurate in morning as temp rise and before fan starts. Specs do list accuracy variance at 5 degrees (when it's working correct). Usually better than that except as mentioned above.

Just out of curiosity, why?

More to the point - do you have a iPad or iPhone? If so, well, there's an app for that

I have an iPad and the wife has an iPhone. The beach where we do almost all of our camping has no wifi unless you drive over to it and park in the parking lot to use it. It's over 500 plus feet away from where we camp. Has anyone have this or know of it. Oregon Scientific WMR86 Backyard Pro Wireless Weather Station WMR86.

Where I live the weather apps are not accurate. It shows the town, which I am only 3 miles from, as several degrees warmer than at my house. Same with wind and precipitin. That is why I have a small weather station at home.

Understand the app issue with accuracy...once again my go-to site (Amazon) shows a wide variety of weather stations at an even better price than our friends at Wally World

Amazon.com: Acu-Rite Professional Digital Weather Station
