What Is Wrong With Me?!

Hi, my name is Michael and I'm a "Mod-oholic". I'm wondering why I can never leave "well enough" alone. Every time we camp, I find things with the trailer that I think could be better. It's like I'm possessed. So the latest additions are under bed led stip lighting because it was hard to find things at night and the bedroom light was over the mattress so no direct light in the box, closet organizers because we didn't have enough shelf space for folded clothes and usb chargeable motion detection lights in every closet. Pictures for al these can be found at https://flic.kr/s/aHskhF8D1r. Is there a support group for people like me?

No, they won't let you work on them while on the lot.

It must be contagious! I have the mod disease too. My wife wants to go camping and I want to stay home and mod the camper. When we do go camping I can't get my mind off of how to make the camper better and which mod I want to tackle next. What will I do if I run out of ideas for mods?

I have the same addiction...except besides the RV- I get addicted to modding trucks, M/C's, UTV, trailer, house...etc.

I need 3 of me. (with 3 incomes)

No, there is no cure. But there are ways to keep the disease from getting out of control.

1) Remain calm and know that you will be doing some MODs in the near future.
2) survey the unit for possible MODing areas.
3) Remain calm and make a Short List.
4) Take this list and talk to the DW about them, ask her what she likes/thinks. (remember, there is no cure and this is a long process) Keep the DW happy.
5) From this short list pick ONE... Two, at the most of projects to do. Do them well. Sit back, smile, remain calm. (ask the DW what she thinks)
6) Keep your list short and Finish each MOD to the best that you can.
7) Call all of your MODing friends and get them involved.
8) Wash, rinse, spin... repeat.

9) there is no cure, but over time the urges may recede a little. (but then again.... maybe not... )

Yes! Buy a new camper. Spend the 1st year completing the build correctly. Then start a new mod list.

This is a funny thread. I'm going to make popcorn and read this from time to time.

Oh yeah, count me in.

My name is David, and I'm a modaholic.

" Is there a support group for people like me?"

1. Credit card companies will support any mod you want.
2. A grove of money trees.
3. Of course, we will tell you how great your mods are.

We all share your addiction. Enjoy it.

I have it too! Self diagnosed. Worse thing for me, while ordering parts for latest idea on Amazon I will see, "people who ordered this also ordered this" section and I buy things I didn't even know I need!
