When the slides are fully out, the floor of the slide is flush with the floor of the camper. The front edge of the plywood floor is being supported by a lip on the camper.
When the slides are in, the slide floor is about 1 1/2" higher than the rest of the floor. It's raised an *unsupported*. It wasn't designed to hold extra weight when it's in like this - especially weight that has a small foot print and moves.
