wheel chocks details

Can someone please point me to the link that shows how to make the wooden wheel chocks??
All the links I have found lead to nowhere.

If you get the Bal brand X chocks, they fit in between the two tires at their closest point on each side, then ratchet it apart thereby locking the wheels in place, and also stabilizing the camper's movement, as well. About 35.00, money very well spent. Good quality metal construction, too. One for each side works the best, but not necessary. Randy

It still doesnt for me.
the thread shows up but not the details of the mod.
Thas ok. what are the top and bottom measurements of the blocks?
and length of the threaded rod.

boudie, the measurements are different for different trailers.
not all trailers have the same distance between the axles as yours does.

my Roo 23SS's axles are closer together than other trailers.

there's no standard measurements for these. also, the wood wedges have different angles, based on the distance between the tires.

you have to measure yourself, unless you can find someone with a Roo or Shamrock 19 that has made some themselves.

boudie I can't find the plans I used (they have been removed from the original website) This is the best I could find. All of the following dimensions will depend on the space between your tires (mine are about 3" apart)

The rod is 18"
Top of chock block is 7.5" in length
Bottom of chock block is 4.25" in length
For the top nut I used a wing nut

Just googled 'em.

Like 'em a lot!

I especially like that they are "lockable".
