I've never liked TV/DVD combos nor Microwave/Toaster Combos, Microwave/Coffee Maker Combos etc. etc.

So we stick to a regular TV.
This one has great reviews

How is the sound? I was looking at this unit but heard the sound is absolutely horrible.

I have to say that the sound is not the best. Don’t get me wrong, I will still recommend the TV because of capability and price. Vizio could have done a better job with the sound. I’m sure I would be able to compensate for it by wiring it into the concertone but I haven’t had time yet.
If I were to put my finger on the sound issue I would say the speakers are too small. Just my 2 cents...
