That sounds like the model number of the one I'm using, but don't have the box near to check the number for sure. I do know it is the observation camera and mine works great on our Flagstaff 29KSWS. I have left it on for quite some time when traveling and never lost signal once.

Yes, the 48 is the observation and 12 is the backup. We seem to lose pic temporarily when large power lines cross road, otherwise works great

We have the 12. It works great for backing. It is not intended to be used at highway speed for rear observation. I only wanted to use the camera for backing so, bought the cheaper one. So far no issues.

I like having the option of observation, makes lane changes etc a little easier. If i am going to spend the money, i prefer having the option to use full time instead of just backing up

Those are definitely bigger monitors than I have. I put the FOS48 observation camera on our TT last spring, my monitor is rectangular, and I use my wife's hair tie to attach to rear view mirror. Not sure where I would put the larger monitor. Hopefully somebody with a larger Furrion monitor will chime in.
