WifiRanger LTE

Anyone having luck with a cell data plan and coverage using the WifiRanger?

Our 2019 Minilite 2109S has the Sky4 up on the roof but we dont have the cell coverage card in it...

Using it in PA. State parks all over PA, wondering if any advice on a carrier to use, and how it works...

Depending on the state Park you may not even get a cell signal. Most places I’ve been have had ok 3g coverage which pretty much limits you to staring at a page loading. The weather usually passes by while waiting for the radar to refresh [emoji6]. Anything would help though. I do not have a booster so will be following these answers...

I purchased the Wineguard Connect 2.0 and installed it on my roof. I am using OTRmobile.com for unlimited cellular data plan $60 a month. I have had no issues with it.

Is that for one line?

Yes it’s one SIM card unlimited data no throttling of data.
It’s for the SIM card that enables me to broadcast WIFI into my trailer and stream and use the internet
I have a co worker next to me who uses it to to stream shows he uses the guest network. I use the main network.

After about 45 minutes delay, I spoke with Verizon (our cellular provider) about whether they would really accept/communicate with/recognize as part of our cellular plan an LTE modem and device installed in the WiFi Ranger antenna. The ultimate answer was at $20 per month, and if Verizon is given the IMEI number and SIM card number for the LTE modem, they could verify whether it would work. So, right now it looks as if I have to buy the modem, get the numbers, and take my chances. Since Verizon service stinks at the main place I would use the LTE modem, I am deferring a decision on what to do.

Who is your cellular provider?

I wish the camper had not come with the WiFiRanger extender. It's just another hole in our roof!
We use a JetPack and it works great!
We are on the road 6 months out of the year and rarely do not have internet access.

OTRmobile.com is my provider. They use AT&T as the provider. It’s an unlimited plan for 60$ a month.

Have you bought the LTE modem yet, if not wait!!! I bought the LTE modem with Verizon card, Ive had nothing but problems. You cannot add that SIM for $20 with Verizon, they don't recognize the LTE modem as a hotspot. I've talked to several people via phone who told me I could buy the SIM at the store and do the $20 unlimited....not true. it is crazy, $80 for 10MB. So beware if you haven't already bought it.
