Wildcat Mods

Been meaning to post these mods i recently did on our 16 Wildcat 312bhx
1. Sewer Pipe Holder- Made out of 6" pvc and the buyers brand pvc caps. Along with a gutter for the slide out. Works great and the best mod yet. Had to install at the rear of the trailer because of clearance issues in the middle.
2. Screens for refrigerator, water heater, and furnace.
3. Away with 5th wheel at the dealer and installed a reese goosebox. Rides so smooth.
4.Bunk bed rails. Didn't see any purchase items i liked, so i crafted these out of 1x3 oak. Kiddos loved them and worked out well.
5.Misc Velcro Items- Remotes throughout have velcro on them. After a trip this past weekend the outdoor kitchen refer door opened and everything spilled out. Took some velcro to keep it shut.
6. LED puck lights in the pantry to light up in those hard to see places.
7. Front door glass replacement. Never did like not being able to see out front door. Purchased the glass and black replacement trim (to match all other trim) and then tinted. Looks good and you can see out but not in.
8. Grab handle for door.
9. Removed shower skylight trim and tinted it. Cut the sun out by 75% during the day and makes it feel so much cooler.
Next up is some undercarriage lighting, storage solutions for underside storage compartments, and some other misc things

Nice looking bunk rail. Do you have anymore pictures? How did you secure it to the bunk?

I purchased a Buyers Products (CC600) 6" Conduit Carrier Kit from amazon ( cheapest I found at time) then bought a 6" pvc and painted it black to blend in, and a pvc gutter for the slide. Mounting was tricky on this model due to new frame. The rear had one spot open and had a hole already there, so I just had to drill one hole each side. The hardware in the kit is very rigid and works great. The caps I used stainless steel rivets to fastening. Here are more pics. Let me know if you have any more questions

How do you like the Reese Goosebox? Did you install yourself? I have a Wildcat 295RSX with standard MorRyde pin box. I installed Firestone airbags to the rear of the truck, but still jerks around a bit on rough roads. Looking at changing out pinbox to something and have seen a few like trialair and MorRyde, but always looking for suggestions and comments.

I'm curious about the under the mattress support (how thick is it, how was it attached to the side rail, etc.). I'm currently using a toddler bed (similar to attached picture), but my son is older now and would prefer something a little more grown up.

Jkrise. I switched pin box at dealer. I did it myself in parking lot before leaving. Just four bolts each side. Sat it on tailgate and dropped trailer. Took me and wife about 45 min in parking lot. It rides very smooth and no kerning or clunking. Plus I don't have to deal with a 5er hitch , I just turn my ball over ( B&W hitch). The original pin box is very light, you can pick up with one hand. Goosebox is heavy, and has 5th airborne ride in it.
